The philosophy of the Metropolitan Care is a fundamental belief that young people can go through a difficult period of time in the journey to adulthood, and that the transition from care to independence may come with a lot of challenges. Therefore, we trust that it is important to address the educational, social and personal needs of the young people placed under Metropolitan Care. We intend to provide our services through Supportive semi-independent accommodation created within a stimulating environment with structured packages that include education, social and personal life skills training. We also provide a warm welcoming atmosphere that encourages growth, settlement and personal development for care leavers aged 16-18 followed by further support in finding more independent accommodation when ready.
